Sharing Your GTM and Meta Pixel

As a prospective Audience Partner with Flow, in order for us to create audiences based on your first-party data we require access to your Google Tag Manager (GTM) container and Meta pixel (if one already exists). Particularly on the GTM, Flow is able to then create custom tags where segmentation can be implemented, without affecting any of your existing tags.

How to share GTM access

  • Go to https://tagmanager.google.com and log in with an Admin-level Google account.

  • Select the correct GTM Account and Container.

  • In the left-hand menu, click Admin → under the Container column, click User Management.

  • Click the + button (top right) → select Add Users.

  • Enter the user’s Google email address.

  • Under Account Permissions, leave as default (or select Administrator if full access is required).

  • Under Container Permissions, tick:

    • Edit

    • Publish (Recommended for implementation partners like Flow Platform)

  • Click Invite.

Sharing your Meta pixel/data set

  1. Log in to Business Settings: business.facebook.com/latest/settings.

  2. The left hand menu should look as shown in the image below:

  1. Go to Users, Partners on the left-hand menu. Select 'Add' and ‘Give a partner access to your assets.

  1. Enter Flow’s ID 235336827200001. You will see a popup where you can assign assets to share. In the popup, scroll down the left-hand menu to Datasets, select your pixel/dataset, and assign Full Access to Flow.

  1. It is important to note that if your Business Manager account is new, it will be some time before you will be able to share the Pixel with Flow due to Meta restrictions.
