API
The API integration allows publishers to connect with Flow in a highly customisable and flexible way. By implementing Flow’s API scripts directly on their own sites, publishers can launch campaigns from within their own environment, creating a more native and seamless user experience compared to other integration types. Two key advantages of this integration type makes it unique compared to the other integration types. Firstly, campaigns can be validated as a "dry-run" before actually publishing the campaign to ensure all configurations are correct (this is a feature that can be set on or off within the API Script at your discretion). Secondly, it is possible to publish campaigns by referencing existing packages and listings.
This integration replicates Link-Out-style functionality without requiring users to leave the publisher’s site.
This flexibility also makes it possible to implement advanced features, such as "Campaign Boost" buttons directly next to products, offering a powerful solution for publishers managing online retail or commerce sites.
